Abstract

Specific hydration of the NH protons of the neurohypophyseal peptide hormone Lys-vasopressin was investigated by the combined use of 2D-WATERGATE-NOESY/ROESY and 1D off- resonance WATERGATE-ROESY experiments. The 1D off-resonance experiment has significant sensitivity advantages compared to 2D-WATERGATE NOESY/ROESY. However, selectivity of the 180o RE-BURP shaped pulse is very critical and the significant mobility of the peptide might complicate the interpretation.
